Qatar Airways plans Doha-NY-Washington service soon

Doha: Qatar Airways will soon start connection flights to its new Doha-New York-Washington flights from all the major cities in India.
Currently, the airline has only connection flight from Kochi to the new US service starting June 26 and plans are afoot to start connection flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad by the end of this year, Mr Naveen Chawla, Regional Manager - India, Qatar Airways, said.
Addressing a press meet after unveiling the details of the US launch of the flight here on Thursday, Mr Chawla said that Qatar Airways would be the only West Asian carrier flying daily non-stop between Doha and Washington Dulles International Airport.
The launch of the US flights is the highlight of Qatar Airways' route expansion programme during 2007, he added.
