11 Indian officials shifted to Mumbai at one go

New Delhi: The decision of the National Aviation Company of India (NACIL) to shift several staff members from Delhi to Mumbai as part of the restructuring process could create human resources problems for the airline in the coming days.
Sources point out that in the case of erstwhile Indian alone as many as 11 of the 53 directors and executive director personnel have been shifted from Delhi to Mumbai.
“The discontent is at an individual level at the moment and is not being expressed collectively.
“Being in the airline business, we are shifted every few years. But so many people being shifted at one go does seem unprecedented,” said a senior airline official.
NACIL is the new entity into which Air India and Indian have been amalgamated.Questioning the logic, an official wondered why the airline was going against current trends.
