Airhostess molested, second case in 15 days

An airhostess was allegedly molested on board an aircraft on Thursday and the police have arrested a businessman.
The police said that the alleged incident took place on a Delhi-bound flight coming from Bangkok. The accused, a resident of Punjab, misbehaved with the airhostess when she refused him alcohol. The police identified him as Ajay Grover, a resident of Phagwara. He had gone to Bangkok on a business trip.
“The accused had already consumed his share of alcohol as permitted by the airlines and he demanded more. When the victim denied him the drinks he started misbehaving with her,” said a senior police officer.
The police said that the accused even tried to physically assault her and created a row in the aircraft. The police said that the accused was arrested as soon as the flight arrived at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport.
Only a fortnight ago two businessmen from Rajasthan were arrested for allegedly misbehaving with two airhostesses aboard a GoAir flight.
