Visakhapatnam: Air traffic resumed at the Visakhapatnam airport on Sunday after a 24-hour disruption caused by heavy rain.
But Indian and Kingfisher flights didn't take off for the two had earlier announced suspension of today's services anticipating nasty weather. All flights are expected to operate as per schedule from tomorrow, according to Visakhapatnam airport traffic controller C Pattabhi.
He told this website's News Paper water around the airport premises had drained out substantially.
The authorities are busy getting the airport lounges and the entire premises cleaned up to restore complete normalcy at the earliest.
