Kingfisher Airlines, a subsidiary of United Breweries (Holdings), expects to break-even by the first half of financial year 2008-09, reports Business Standard.
The company is expecting an early break-even on back of accelerated revenue and cost synergies with Deccan Aviation.
The company had acquired 26% stake in Deccan Aviation for Rs 5.5 billion. It has also made an open offer for 20%, which was oversubscribed.
The company is aiming total revenues of Rs 200 billion of the two combined entities by March 2011.
Kingfisher Airlines has appointed Accenture to provide consultancy for integration of the merged entities.
