Panaji: Simplifly Deccan (Air Deccan) has announced its new booking and cancellation policy, with effect from October 12.
The officiating CEO Air Deccan, Ramkrishnan Sundaram said that the company has been receiving extensive feedback from the passengers and the company wanted to give them more of what they want.
Passengers can reschedule their ticket, modify the flight, the sector, the route and the date of travel with payment of a rescheduling fee and a fare difference, up to 2 hours prior to flight departure. The rescheduling fee has been slashed to Rs 500 per passenger per journey.
While passengers wishing to cancel their ticket will be entitled to an open ticket in the name of the passenger. The open ticket is equivalent to the cost of the ticket after a deduction of Rs 500. It is valid for a period of 180 days from the date of issue and can be redeemed for travel on any Air Deccan sector.
