AI deploys wide-body aircraft on Kozhikode-Sharjah route

Mumbai: Air India on Monday said it would operate its first leased wide-body A330-200 aircraft on the Kozhikode-Sharjah sector from November 10.
The 279-seater A330-200 aircraft would operate four times a week on Mumbai-Kozhikode-Kochi-Sharjah route, thrice a week on Mumbai-Goa-Kozhikode-Sharjah and twice on return sectors.
Flight IC 595 (Mumbai-Kozhikode-Kochi-Sharjah) would operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It would depart from Kozhikode at 18.15 hours and reach Sharjah at 22 hours via Kochi.
On the return route, IC 596 would leave Sharjah at 01.10 hours and arrive Kozhikode at 7.45 hours via Kochi on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flight IC 597 (Mumbai-Goa-Kozhikode-Sharjah) would operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, would depart Kozhikode at 20.25 hours and reach Sharjah at 22.40 hours.
