Kozhikode: National carrier Air India rescheduled two of its Gulf-bound flights from Karipur international airport near here on Tuesday, owing to closure of runway at Dubai.
While Air India Express Kozhikode-Dubai flight, originally scheduled to depart at 2155 hrs, will now take off at 0030 hrs, Kozhikode-Sharjah flight, scheduled to leave at 2145 hrs, will now start at 0130 hrs on Wednesday, AI sources said.
The delay was inevitable as the runway at Dubai airport continued to remain closed for four hours a day, they said.
Dubai airport had announced that the runway closure will be in effect till November 15.
