Udaipur: The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has received bids from 16 private players for modernisation of the Udaipur airport, as per a release. The companies that have shown interest include Reliance Energy Ltd. (REL), DLF, GMR Group and L&T. Other bidders that are competing for revamping the airport include Soma Construction, Gammon India and Dubai-based ETA. The Udaipur airport will be revamped at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore and is among the first of the 35 non-metro airports that the MoCA wants to modernise on Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis.
