Dubai: An Air India flight to Mumbai returned to Dubai after one hour in the air to offload the luggage of a passenger who failed to board, passengers told Gulf News. "I was very worried," said a parent of a passenger. His son had called him from the plane, saying they were back because of 'safety concerns'.
Flight AI 716 had taken off at around 5.30pm but returned and was parked some way off the main runway and the baggage offloaded.
The plane then left for Mumbai, an Air India staffer said.
