New Delhi: In a bid to reduce problems for passengers travelling abroad this winter, national carrier Air India has rescheduled some of its international flights to avoid fog-induced delays.
The timings for the CAT-III B enabled flights headed for the west will now be an hour earlier while Dubai services have been readjusted to day timings, Air India Executive Director (North) D S Kohli told reporters here.
He said the decision was taken to lessen the burden on passengers during the winter season.
Elaborating on other measures to help passengers during this winter, Kohli said the airline has blocked "some rooms in prominent hotels in Delhi".
"We have also deployed a number of our personnel at the airport to help passengers," he said.
