Hawker Beechcraft Corp. said today a newer, more powerful version of its popular King Air turboprop has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Beechcraft King Air B200GT has a nearly 20-knot speed increase and climbs more quickly to its cruising altitude than the version it replaces, HBC said in a news release.
The company said it expects similar certification by the end of the year from aviation authorities in Europe, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, India, Argentina and Guatemala.
