Reliance Capital plans to bid for Go Air

New Delhi: Anil Ambani promoted Reliance Capital is in the fray for buying a stake in Jeh Wadia's Go Air along with other investors.
Anil Ambani was keen on stake in Deccan but Vijay Mallya finally got the cake so now he is eyeing Go Airlines, owned by the Wadia family a longtime adversary of the Ambanis.
NDTV has learnt that Go Airlines has shortlisted three bidders for selling minority stake in the airline and apart from Anil Amabni owned Reliance Capital, Gulf based Istithmar and the Tatas are also in the fray.
While Reliance Capital has denied any moves to buy stake, Go air has not responded to repeated queries from NDTV.
Jeh Wadia has mentioned time and again that he will not be averse to selling stake in his airline to financial investors provided he gets the right price.
