Nedumbassery: The delay of flight service continued to haunt the Air India flights at the Cochin International Airport here for the third consecutive day on Thursday.
Damam bound AI flight AI 911 from Kochi was delayed by seven hours as the Tempo Traveller in which the flight crew was travelling to the Cochin Airport to join duty rammed into a road-median at Kalamassery on Thursday.
Around 200 passengers, destined to Damam, were accommodated in a hotel and were served food. The AI authorities at the airport arranged alternative crew for the flight operation.
The flight resumed service at 8 p.m.
Air India Express flight IX 402 D to Mumbai was delayed by 7 hours as the flight reportedly reached late from Doha/Bahrain via Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.
