New Delhi: It not just thousands of passengers who throng the Delhi airport during the winters who have to run the gauntlet over the fog hazard. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has had to advance his departure for China to Saturday evening due to fears that a soupy Sunday morning could put a spoke in his plans.
The PM, who was scheduled to leave for Beijing on Sunday morning, is now emplaning some 12 hours earlier. His advisers successfully got the external affairs ministry to reschedule his plans as any disruption would have thrown important engagements in Beijing out of gear.
Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao is hosting a dinner on Sunday evening for Singh, and the occasion is likely to see the two leaders engage in crucial discussions on a whole spectrum of issues.
