Mumbai: The Mumbai police busted another passport and visa scam in a joint operation with the Uttar Pradesh special task force on Monday.
Four Mumbai-based touts were arrested from Indraprastha Market in Borivli. The accused have been identified as Sultan Hyder, Ashok Anchan, Julian Ceril and Sam Joseph. While Anchan is from Karnataka, the others are from Mumbai and are said to operate at the international airport.
Senior inspector of Unit 11 Feroz Patel said the police recovered fake passports, visa documents and other documents used for making passports. The police have also recovered six passports that are said to have been made from the regional passport office in the city.
