Mihin Lanka to resume Indian operations

Colombo: The Sri Lankan budget airline, Mihin Lanka, will resume its flight operations to Indian destinations with effect from January 18.
The airline will fly both to Trichy and Trivandrum thrice a week, an airline statement said.
While the frequency of Trichy will be every Thursday, Friday and Sunday, the Sri Lankan low cost airline will operate its flights to Trivandrum on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
'Mihin Lanka' is a low-cost airlines and is fully owned and funded enterprise of the Sri Lankan government.
The airline will also resume its flights to Bodh Gaya every Sunday soon, it said. This sector was temporarily shut down as it is the off-season for pilgrims to Bodh Gaya till the end of February, the statement said.
The airlines had started its non-stop weekly service to Bodh Gaya from September last year, catering to its lakhs of Buddhist citizens.
