Bahrain Air set to take off

Manama: Bahrain Air, the kingdom's new budget airline, will take to the skies on Sunday with a flight to Dubai.
Announcing its inaugural flight, the carrier said it would provide a service across the Gulf region and Indian subcontinent gradually.
With three aircraft already in place when it starts operations it plans to introduce a further four aircraft by the end of the year.
This will further enhance its position in the Bahrain aviation sector and by 2010 intends to have 10 aircraft.
"The airline's ambitions do not stop with fleet expansion," a spokeswoman said.
"Bahrain Air will strive to stretch its wings to destinations within the GCC, Middle east and Africa and the Indian subcontinent."
