Bomb threat delays flight

Thiruvananthapuram: A Dubai-Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Air India flight was delayed at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Wednesday night following a bomb scare.
The flight later took off by 12 midnight after a thorough combing proved that the plane was ‘clean.’
Airport security and the police with the help of the bomb and dog squads combed the plane, Valiyathura police said. An unidentified caller alerted the Airport Manager that a bomb was planted on the AI 980 flight from Dubai which touched down at 8.30 pm.
