Jet Airways was awarded the prestigious first ever Loyalty Award 2008 for Customer and Brand loyalty in the ‘Commercial Airlines Sector (Domestic)’. The awards were announced at a glittering ceremony at the Taj Land Ends, Mumbai on January 22, 2008. The award was received on behalf of the airline by Mr. Choo Poh Leong, Regional Vice President – Sales (India & SAARC), Jet Airways.
The first ever Loyalty Awards was conceived and managed by IndiaTimes Mindscape along with Savile Row (A Forbes Group Venture), based on a rigorous customer research. Consumers were approached with a questionnaire in the major cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. The final award winners were determined on the basis of customer responses only.
Commenting on Jet Airways’ achievement, Mr. Poh Leong said, “Jet Airways’ relentless focus on customer service has helped it emerge as India’s premier airline brand, besides winning loyal customers around the world. With the further international route expansions that the airline will undertake in the coming months, Jet Airways will now strive to take its place among the leading airlines in the world.”
