Filipino loses passport, misses flight

Kolkata: A Philippines national, Mr Bajamundi Rodolfo Ayacocho (58), had to miss his flight late last night following a peculiar incident.
The man was on his way to Manila via Singapore by Singapore Airlines flight which was supposed to leave the NSC Bose Airport at 11.50 p.m.. He went to the airport on time, all the formalities including immigration, custom and security checks were completed. He was waiting to board the flight in the security hold area.
The boarding of the flight was announced and other passengers started to proceed to board the flight when he found his passport was missing. A quick look around was of no avail.
