New Delhi: Civil Aviation Ministry has asked Indian Air Force to explain how a 'neelgai' strayed onto the runway at Kanpur airport and collided with an aircraft during landing.
Replying to supplementaries during Question Hour in Rajya Sabha, Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said the Kanpur airport belongs to Indian Air Force and "we have taken up the issue with them".
"If it was airport under the Airports Authority of India, we would have had direct access to what happened," he said.
