'It's business as usual at Bangalore airport'

Bangalore: Although there was slight delay in arrival and departure of flights, it was "business as usual" at the Bangalore airport here despite the indefinite "non-cooperation" stir by employees of the Airports Authority of India.
"There is not much of an impact. There is a slight delay in arrival and departures", said Stanley Sampathkumar, Secretary of Bangalore branch of Airports Authority Employees Union.
Airport officials said services were normal and it was like any other day, with no adverse impact on the ground.
AAI employees, holding aloft placards and shouting slogans, held a demonstration outside the airport in support of their demands on Wednesday.
Other officials said, "it's business as usual" at the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd-owned airport. HAL employees have not joined the agitation which started at the stroke of midnight on Tuesday night.
