Imphal: Private airline, Kingfisher Flight has suspended its service along the Imphal sector, for reasons unspecified since the last 10 days or so.
Expressing his disappointment over the decision, social worker Amrik Singh Pahwa urged the vice president and in charge of NE region for Kingfisher to retract their decision and resume service during a meeting of the air service held at Kolkata on March 1.Pahwa pointed out that Kingfisher has decided to pull out despite the fact that it operates only one flight per day in Imphal while in Kolkata alone it operates 16 flights per day.
