Virgin Atlantic mulls connecting London with Kerala

Mumbai: Bewitched by the scenic beauty of Kerala, where he was holidaying for the last three days, Virgin Atlantic Airways' flamboyant boss Richard Branson is mulling to connect the "God's Own Country" with London.
"It could be, but there is no immediate plan," Branson said when asked whether Virgin Atlantic airways would like to connect London with a city in Kerala, the state to which he referred number of times during an interaction with the media.
Virgin Atlantic Airways has flights operating from Delhi and Mumbai to London. It had earlier said that the company has plans to connect other cities like Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Amritsar with London.
However, Branson kept the cards to his chest when asked whether Virgin Atlantic Airways would like to connect other Indian cities with London, saying, "Definitely, we would like to connect other Indian cities with London. But, at this point of time, I am not sure which are they. It is a proposal, though".
