New Delhi: U.S.-based Bell Helicopter, a unit of Textron Inc. plans to establish a maintenance, repair and overhaul - or MRO - facility in India, a senior company executive told Dow Jones Newswires Wednesday.
"We are looking at an MRO in India, but it's in the preliminary stages. We are talking to everyone (for partners)," said Max E. Wiley, Bell Helicopter's vice-president of Asia Pacific sales.
Speaking on the sidelines of an aviation conference, Wiley said also that the company hopes to finalize a location in India and a partner by the end of the year for establishing a pilot and engineering services training school.
