Is MP Wahab softening his stand?

Days after he called a pilot a glorified driver, Kerala MP Abdul Wahab has hinted at burying the hatchet telling TIMES NOW he is willing to forget the incident.
Wahab, a prominent businessman and a Rajya Sabha MP, has been accused of holding up a flight after getting into a verbal duel with a pilot inside the cockpit and even threatening to pass a privilege motion againt the pilot concerned. Subsequently he was deplaned from the Kozhikode-Kochi flight.
But what could be the reasons behind Wahab's change in stance? Well, firstly it could well be a result of the lack of support he has received from across the spectrum of political parties, politicians like BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy who said, "No MP has the privilege to break the law, no MP has the privilege to take charge of the rules of the game, and he cannot be illegal. So I think it's a brawl which is more of an ego tussle." Even CPI(M) Politburo member Sitaram Yechury, said he could not comment.
Meanwhile the Indian Commercial Pilot's Association could be another thorn in Wahab's side with its President Kapil Raina saying the organisation backing Rana to the hilt, would approach the IFALPA to debar the MP from travelling in any world airline.
