New Delhi: After being offloaded from a flight last week for being late, an internal inquiry by Air India has found that Muslim League MP from Kerala, Abdul Wahab entered the cockpit.
Air India sources say an internal inquiry has found that the Kerala MP Abdul Wahab had indeed entered the cockpit of the aircraft during his argument with pilot Rajat Rana.
This is a violation of aviation security rules, which stipulate that no one, not even flight attendants are allowed to enter the cockpit when the plane is below an altitude of 10,000 feet.
However, Wahab has all the while been claiming that he had not entered the cockpit.
“I didn’t even go near to the toilet. There is no question of me going to the cockpit,” says Wahab.
The pilots association has been demanding an apology from the MP for his conduct. However, Wahab on the other hand has been demanding an apology from the pilot.
