Mumbai: Jet Airways has launched its service to Hong Kong from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, to become the first private Indian carrier to fly to Hong Kong.
Jet Airways’ maiden flight 9W42 to Hong Kong was flagged off by the airline’s CEO, Wolfgang Prock-Schauer today.
“We believe that Jet Airways’ product on the Mumbai-Hong Kong sector is among the finest in its class and will be much appreciated by passengers travelling on business between the two Asian financial hubs, as also those travelling for leisure,” he said.
The new flight on the Mumbai-Hong Kong route departed Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on-time at 0100 hrs, and will arrive at Hong Kong International Airport at 0915 hrs. The return flight, 9W41 (Hong-Kong-Mumbai) will depart from Hong Kong International Airport at 1905 hrs and arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai at 2310 hrs. 14/04/08 Business Standard
