Wahab: It's all a big lie

The MP -- Abdul Wahab in the midst of a row with the Pilot's guild stays defiant and refused to apologise to Captain Rajat Rana. He said that the entire episode between him and Rana is a big lie, as he never entered the cockpit of the flight.
Speaking exclusively to TIMES NOW, Wahab said, "I would apologise only if I thought I had done something wrong. As far as I know, I have not done anything wrong. All the allegations against me are false because I never entered the cockpit. The incident took place outside the cockpit."
Wahab went on to add, "I was forced to intervene because the pilot was shouting at the Duty Manager. I intervened as a member of the Cabinet Consultative Committee on Aviation. The pilots are free to ask anyone to intervene."
Wahab was booked on Indian's Kozhikode-Kochi-Dubai flight with his family on April 8. The take-off was delayed until the MP and his kin turned up some 15 minutes past the scheduled departure time. Airport sources added that the angry pilot -- Rajat Rana -- summoned the local airport manager. The manager entered the aircraft with the MP, and pulled him up. Wahab then got into an argument with the pilot. The pilot then declared that the plane would not take off until the MP removed himself. Wahab got off the plane and his baggage was removed.
