Wahab lobby takes on pilot

The Pilot-MP row refuses to die down. Just a day after Captain Rajat Rana, the pilot who stood up to MP Abdul Wahab, broke his silence over the issue, supporters of the Kerala MP have hit back threatening the pilot with dire consequences.
Captain Rajat Rana was caught on camera recently by TIMES NOW, but today Rana is running away from our cameras, because Rajya Sabha MP Abdul Wahab has threatened him with dire action.
The row, which ordinarily should have died down, has now escalated into a huge standoff that could damage the young pilot's career. The fear was evident when he spoke to our reporter.
"Ma'am, I cannot comment about the case. My union has already clarified and given a statement and I stand by my union's statement," said Rana. When pressed to comment 'as a citizen' about the flight delay which caused many passengers to be held up on that day, Rana parrotted the rule book: "I cannot comment as a captain of Air India, but if you ask me as a citizen of India I definitely feel that the flight should not be held up except for cases national security and humanitarian grounds - when a flight is delayed it causes inconvenience to other passengers."
Rana's fears are genuine; the pilot community is trying to settle scores with the minister by firing their guns off Rana's shoulder.
