Mumbai: Air India’s Dubai-Pune flight made an emergency landing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) here Tuesday afternoon following hydraulic failure. Airport officials said the Airbus A-320 aircraft landed safely under full emergency measures around 2.49 p.m. All the 39 passengers and the crew aboard flight IC-690 are safe.
“The pilot of the aircraft alerted the air traffic control (ATC) around 2.20 p.m., after he discovered a snag,” an airport official, requesting anonymity, told IANS.
ATC alerted the airport authorities who sounded an emergency and informed the fire and rescue services and other emergency services to meet any eventuality.
