Tiny UK airline Palmair which is based at Bournemouth airport has been shortlisted for the prestigious Which? Best Airline Award.
Palmair has just one plane in its fleet but offers a wide choice of holidays from Bournemouth airport. Flights are offered to many of the most popular holiday destinations including the Algarve, Corfu, Costa Blanca, Fuerteventura, Lake Garda, Lanzarote, Madeira, Majorca, Malta, Minorca, Rhodes, Sorrento, Tenerife and Tunisia.
Competition for the Best Airline Award is bound to be stiff, particularly as the other airlines nominated are some of the biggest players in the industry: Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines (the first airline to fly the new Airbus A380 superjumbo), and Jet Airways of India.
The nominations for Best Airline are based on new research which will be published in the July issue of Which? Magazine.
The winner of the Best Airline Award will be announced on 17th June at the Which? Awards ceremony hosted by news presenter Dermot Murnaghan.
