'My son was trying to help Sucheta'

Mumbai: Arjun Menon's father, Balchandra Menon, believes his son was just trying to help a colleague overcome her depression and cannot be blamed for Sucheta Anand's suicide.
"She was facing a problem in her marital life and was going through depression. My son was just trying to help her out of it," Balchandra said on Wednesday. He spoke to TOI on Thursday when his son was being produced in the Bandra court.
Balchandra, working in the hotel industry at Bangalore, has come down to Mumbai with two others sons to help the embattled Arjun, who has been accused of abetting Anand's suicide.
