Shell-MRPL to supply Jet ATF for two yrs

New Delhi: Shell-MRPL Aviation Fuels & Services Pvt Ltd, and joint venture between Shell India and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), last week signed a two-year contract to supply aviation turbine fuel (ATF) to Jet Airways, the country's largest airline by passenger traffic, at the new Bangalore and Hyderabad airports.
A statement issued by Shell and MRPL did not disclose the price at which the fuel would be sold Jet.
Sanjay Varkey, CEO Shell-MRPL Aviation said, "Shell-MRPL Aviation is delighted to be chosen as the ATF supplier to Jet Airways in the new Bangalore and Hyderabad airports. This marks the beginning of our commercial partnerships with airlines in India. We look forward to partnering with other airlines in the country in coming months."
