Haryana supports naming Chandigarh airport after Bhagat Singh

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda Saturday said that Haryana fully support the naming of the international airport of Chandigarh as Shahid Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh.
The Chief Minister was addressing the media persons after inaugurating the Advance Hernia Surgery Centre and Advance Piles Surgery Centre of Diwan Hospital at Ludhiana.
Hooda said that it was a matter of pride that when today we were celebrating the 66 anniversary of Quit India movement, the International Airport of Chandigarh and two states of Haryana and Punjab was named after great martyr Bhagat Singh. He said that belonging to a family of freedom fighters, he was personally feeling happy on this development. He said that he had never raised objections or opposed the naming of International Airport of Chandigarh as Shahid Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh.
