No dip in air travel

Bangalore: Despite the threat of a possible air strike in India, people are continuing with their travel plans.
Airlines say no significant cancellations have taken place on account of the terror threats."Weekend business is as usual," is what all airlines are saying. Typically, weekend air travel dips significantly by 40%-60% depending on the sector as compared to air travel on weekdays. Airlines say there's no change in this pattern.
Bengaluru International Airport officials corroborate this: "We have received no cancellations from airlines for travel on this weekend."
Even international airlines are reporting fairly good business despite advisories being issued by several countries to their citizens on being careful about travel to India.
Emirates say that their flights are doing good business as people are flying to India for the upcoming Id holidays. Singapore Airlines too is reporting healthy load factors.
Cathay Pacific and Dragon Air say that their overall load factor is down marginally by 5%-10%.
