Minister hit by car at airport

Hyderabad: Agriculture minister N Raghuveera Reddy on Wednesday suffered a minor fracture on his left leg when he was hit by a car of a private airline at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
According to an official release, the mishap occurred when the minister arrived at the airport at around 3.30 pm to board a Bangalore-bound flight.
"As the minister was stepping out of the car from the right side, a speeding Indica hit him. After examining the injury, doctors confirmed that the minister suffered a fracture on his left heel," the release stated.
According to Shamshabad ACP S Muralidhar, the speeding car belonged to Kingfisher Airlines and it was carrying the airline crew.
He said Raghuveera Reddy was rushed to a hospital on the airport premises and from there to Care Hospitals in Banjara Hills.
