AI flight withdrawal leaves passengers fuming

Vadodara: Passengers boarding Air India's Mumbai-Vadodara flight were left enraged when the evening flight was withdrawn, airport sources said.
This is the second time that the national carrier has withdrawn its service on the Mumbai-Vadodara-Mumbai sector.
Earlier it had withdrawn its service on November 7 last year, sources said.
Union Aviation Minister Praful Patel had agreed to the resumption of the evening flights in the Mumbai-Vadodara-Mumbai sector along with the Delhi-Vadodara-Delhi sector, they said.
Besides, industrial bodies including Federation of Gujarat Industries, Vadodara Chamber of Commerce and Industries among others had demanded that the office of Air India functioning from its premises in Fatehgunj since 1969 should not be shifted elsewhere as it is a location convenient for everyone in the city to visit it due to its location.
