MIG-27 fighter aircraft crashes, 7 injured

Jodhpur: A MIG-27 fighter aircraft on a routine sortie crashed in a village in this district on Friday, injuring seven persons on the ground.
The pilot ejected safely after the crash took place around 8.30am in Konkani village in Luni, 42 kms from Jodhpur, Defence PRO Lt Col N N Joshi said.
According to SP (Rural) Jodhpur, Sharad Kaviraj, seven persons on the ground were injured in the mishap, one of them seriously.
