Kochi: An international conference on augmenting airport revenue will be held in Kochi on May 9 and 10.
"The industry is enthusiastic about the conference. As Indian airports expand and modernise, augmenting airport revenues through a sustainable revenue model becomes critical," Cochin International Airport Ltd Managing Director Krishnadas Nair told reporters here.
The conference, with the theme" Sustainable Strategies to Develop Airport as a Business Centre", is being organised by CIAL, an airport based on public-private partnership, with the support of the Airports Authority of India and the Association of Private Airport Operators of India.
The Association comprises Bangalore International Airport Ltd, CIAL, Delhi International Airport Ltd, Hyderabad International Airport Ltd and Mumbai International Airport Limited, he said.
The plenary session will have deliberations, focusing on the subject" Developing Airports as a Commercial Hub", which will be chaired by Airports Authority of India Chairman V P Agrawal.
