Passengers suffer as flights cancelled

Patna: Passengers booked for the Patna-Kolkata flight of Jetlite had a nightmarish experience on Wednesday as the airline's both morning and evening flights were cancelled.
The forenoon flight, which takes off at 11.40 am, was cancelled after passengers had boarded the flight. They got angry and Jetlite staff members had a hard time explaining the problem and pacifying them.
"The aircraft developed a snag at the time of take-off hence we had to cancel the flight," said a Jetlite official. The official said as the same aircraft comes in the evening for the evening Patna-Kolkata flight, the airlines had to cancel even the evening flight with the aircraft remaining grounded at the airport.
