Air India to reschedule Boeing deliveries

Mumbai: Air India has over US$8 bn worth of planes on order from Boeing, including 27 B787 Dreamliners.
Cash starved national carrier Air India is looking at various options to cut cost, including rescheduling plane orders from Boeing Co, chairman Arvind Jadhav said on Monday.
"We are looking at options including rescheduling," he told reporters on the sidelines of an aviation meeting in Kuala Lumpur. Air India has over US$8bn worth of planes on order from Boeing, including 27 B787 Dreamliners.
Meanwhile, Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal said that the private airline defer orders it has placed for 10 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
