30 kg peacock tail feather seized at airport

Kolkata: Customs officials today seized 30 kg of peacock tail feathers from a Bangkok-bound passenger at the NSC Bose International Airport here.
Prahlad Kasadhar, a resident of Shibpur in Howrah district of West Bengal, has booked a packet for a Kolkata-Bangkok Jet Airways flight, airport sources said. Kasadhar (27) has been detained and is being interrogated.
