Mumbai: A full emergency was declared for an Ahmedabad-Mumbai Indian Airlines flight, IC 685, at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday. An airport spokesperson said hydraulic failure was the cause for the alarm. However, the flight landed at 8.49 p.m. and the full emergency was withdrawn at 8.57 p.m.
Normal operations resumed later. There were 137 passengers on board.
A staff member for IC flights from Ahmedabad told The Hindu on the phone that the flight had landed in Mumbai on time and that it was set to leave for Muscat.
