Jet confirms getting strike notice from Pilot's guild

In a press statement issued on Monday, Jet Airways confirmed that it has received from National Aviator’s Guild (NAG), a newly constituted body of some of its pilots, a notice of strike of all its members from September 7th, 2009 or thereafter.
The statement said the notice has been taken up for conciliation by the Regional Labour Commissioner (Central).
Ragini Chopra, Vice President - Corporate Communications & Public Relations informed that the airline is taking appropriate action that there is no disruption in its operations, and that no inconvenience is caused to the travelling public.
