Air travellers in Bangalore not queuing up yet

Bangalore: Reports of domestic airlines slashing airline fares by 50 per cent for the next three days has not resulted in air commuters queuing up at the ticket counters in the city.
According to travel operators, the reduction has had a very minor impact on flight bookings and has not been able to lure passengers.
Syed Younis of Aerowise Travel said that air tickets on different routes were available and that tickets being booked in bulk were just rumours.
“Bookings are still open and tickets are available on all airlines,” he said.
A representative of Deccan Holidays said that there was no rush to book tickets and that tickets were available despite the slashing of fares.
A travel agent said that not all airlines had reduced fares and some were still continuing old fares.
