Bangalore: Day 4 of the ongoing strike of the Jet Airways pilots saw a marginal improvement in the operations of Jet Airways flights at the Bengaluru International Airport as around 16 of the 50 odd flights operating on the Bangalore sector took off and landed as per schedule.
Reports of a patch-up between the pilots and the Jet Airways management and the conciliation process which was underway between the two in New Delhi gave a hope that the four-day old stir would finally be called off, as operations of a few inbound and outbound flights in the early hours of Friday were normal.
However, the stalemate continued afterwards and operations were disrupted for the fourth consecutive day, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded. Alternative flights were once again being booked to full capacity.
