Pilots' body approaches Madras court

Chennai: The NAG, registered in Mumbai, on Wednesday approached the Madras High Court about filing a writ petition that would seek to restrain Jet Airways from sacking its pilots.
Senior advocate V Prakash mentioned the issue before a division bench. He wanted permission to file the petition for an order restraining the airline from initiating any action against any pilot or sacking them.
The NAG also sought to file a separate writ petition to direct the DGCA to check each flight of Jet Airways and ensure the safety norms are followed.
