Hyderabad: A Chennai-bound Air India flight, with 162 passengers onboard, landed under emergency conditions due to technical fault 20 minutes after it took off from Visakhapatnam airport this afternoon.
The Delhi-Chennai flight via Vizag which took off from Visakhapatnam airport at 1220 hours developed the fault following which the pilot contacted the Air Traffic Control requesting for an emergency landing, airport sources said.
All passengers were safe and were accommodated in another Air-India plane, they said.
